The Waste Data Update is an annual report produced using data routinely collect by the Environment Agency from waste management sites it regulates. Keep up the good work. EASTEX SUFFOLK NAMED ‘GREENEST BUSINESS FOR WASTE’ AT THE CREATING THE GREENEST COUNTY CONFERENCE. Article submitted by ANNA MARTIN, EASTEX, on 14/02/2008 EASTEX SUFFOLK NAMED ‘GREENEST BUSINESS FOR WASTE’ AT THE CREATING THE GREENEST COUNTY CONFERENCE. Eastex were delighted to receive the ‘Greenest Business for Waste’ award at the recent ‘Suffolk – Creating the Greenest County’ awards hosted by BT at Adastral Park. The awards scheme celebrates the environmental excellence of different organisations across Suffolk. Eastex were commended for their ‘outstanding work to tackle waste in Suffolk’. This award is great news for Eastex because it not only shows how effective the service has been across Suffolk but also how hard all our members have been working to improve their environmental performance.
