West Yorkshire Green Business Club Launches EMS Hubs

BBEF has just launched EMS Hubs for businesses and organisations interested in environmental management. EMS Hubs meet for informal networking over lunch for an hour once every quarter.
Come along, bring lunch money and:Get to know other local environmental managers and champions
Talk about current problems and successes with others who understand the landscape
Get supportive ideas and suggestions
Enjoy a nice lunch with some interesting and friendly people
Hubs are for organisations of all sizes and sectors. Whether your environmental management is formal or ad hoc, networking with others will help you develop your ideas, improve your environmental performance and save money

  | ECO-FAIR 2013 INITIAL SPEAKER PROGRAM LAUNCHED
 Eco-Fair is the largest environmental event in the North of England. We focus on real business issues and best practice case studies.
More than 800 people attended on 1st May 2012. Everybody said would come again! We anticipate 1,000+ people coming in May 2013.
Register for your free place! You can also see who else is registered and suggest speakers you’d like to hear. If you want to promote your green business, check out information on affordable exhibition and sponsorship opportunities.

  | FREE BUSINESS SUPPORT WORKSHOPS FOR SME RECYCLING BUSINESSES
 Advice and support to help recycling businesses grow in a challenging economic climate is available at WRAPs forthcoming free business support workshops.
The workshops include local site tours and the opportunity for one-to-one meetings. You will also be able to meet other companies, to network and to learn best practice.
The workshops are suitable for entrepreneurs and SME recycling companies based in England and focussed on one or more of the following materials: food waste, glass, mixed plastics, textiles, WEEE or wood.
Workshops will take place during February and March and cover the following subjects:
Sales and Marketing, Business Strategy in a Volatile Market and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) re-use – an introduction to PAS 141
